Sheriff Given Honor
Orange County Sheriff Michael Carona received the 2000 Law Enforcement Good Samaritan Award on Thursday from the county’s chapter of Trauma Intervention Programs.
Sandy Hill, a spokeswoman for the trauma intervention chapter, said the sheriff was nominated for his long-standing support for the services of the Trauma Intervention counselors.
