Micro Therapeutics Names Executive VP

John B. Rush is the new executive vice president of marketing and sales for Micro Therapeutics Inc. in Irvine. He was formerly general manager at Boston Scientific, Asia Pacific.

* Sharon Osberg has joined the advisory board of National InterBank in Irvine. She is the former head of Wells Fargo Online and currently serves as consultant to the chief executive of 724 Solutions Inc., based in Toronto.

* Shufan Chan has been named vice president of engineering for the network business unit of TDK Semiconductor Corp. in Tustin. He previously held engineering and management positions with Burr-Brown, TRW and Samsung Semiconductor and was most recently chief technical officer for Linfinity Microelectronics.

* Richard J. Atyeo has been appointed Canadian director of business development for CalGraph Technology Services Inc. in Fullerton, a wholly owned subsidiary of Tekgraf Inc. Before joining CalGraph, Atyeo worked with AZON, a media coating company.

* Marc Rogers has joined Blue C Communications in Newport Beach as account executive for new business development. He was formerly with Bozell Worldwide and Artisan Creative.

* Ed Matsukane has joined Infinilink Corp. in Rancho Santa Margarita as vice president of engineering. He had been director of engineering for digital imaging at Toshiba America Business Solutions in Irvine. Matsukane has also been a software engineer at AST Research Inc. and held engineering positions at Western Digital Corp. and Computer Automation Inc.

* John Curran has been named to the newly created position of vice president of strategic account sales at Wyle Electronics in Irvine. For the last three years Curran has handled Intel semiconductor sales for Wyle. Before that, he ran the Irvine sales office for five years and spent 12 years in Wyle’s Santa Clara division in marketing sales and management positions.

* Steven Conkling has been promoted to principal in LSA Associates Inc.’s Irvine office. Conkling is director of archeology and paleontology. He joined the firm in 1993 after serving as a park ranger and paleontologist for Orange County.
