Ballet Pacifica will highlight its 2000-2001 season with work by guest choreographers who participated in the Irvine company’s Pacifica Choreographic Project, initiated in 1991.

The season will open Oct. 13 and 14 at the Irvine Barclay Theatre with a new work by Peter Pucci, an alum of the 1997 workshop. The as-yet-untitled piece will be a collaboration with California visual artist Tony DeLap.

The program will also include “Triptych” by Lynne Taylor-Corbett (also in the 1997 workshop) and “Variations Serieuses” by Choo-San Goh.
