15-Year-Old Killed in Apparent Gang Shooting
EAST LOS ANGELES —
A 15-year-old boy died Monday in what appeared to be a gang-related shooting in East Los Angeles, and the boy’s father was wounded.
The shooting occurred about 6:20 p.m. on the street in the 4600 block of East 2nd Street, Sheriff’s Deputy Carlos Lopez said.
Lopez said the boy was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
