Saccharin

* Re “Saccharin Deleted From U.S. List of Carcinogens,” May 16:

I wonder why it took our government agencies more than two decades to discover what the rest of us have known since 1900--that normal use of saccharin does not cause cancer. Normal use probably wouldn’t even have caused cancer in rats. What a waste of rats.
