CorVel to Repurchase 1 Million More Shares

CorVel Corp. said Thursday that its board authorized the repurchase of up to 1 million more shares of the Irvine company’s 7.86 million shares of common stock outstanding.
The company, which provides managed care services, said it plans to consider share repurchases when its cash balances exceed internal needs. CorVel shares lost 25 cents Wednesday to close at $27.25 a share in Nasdaq trading.
