PLACENTIA
The Placentia Planning Commission approved a permit this week for a child-care facility that would be managed by Kindercare L.C. in the Imperial-Rose shopping center at Imperial Highway and Rose Drive. Commissioners voted 4 to 1 to approve the proposal, with Commissioner Patricia Shoemaker opposed. Commissioners Marv Reid and Keith Gibson were absent. Approximately 184 children will be enrolled at facility, designed for children 6 weeks to 12 years old.
