** 1/2 Dwight Yoakam, “dwight-yoakamacoustic.net,” Reprise.
The neo-traditionalist country maverick strips 25 songs from his catalog to the bone in solo acoustic arrangements, which on one hand highlights his vocal skills but in a single sitting can become sonically repetitive for all but the truly devoted. The album is a stopgap aimed at giving fans something new before his next full studio release arrives in the fall. Still, after two hits collections and a live album, some songs are appearing for the fourth time on a Yoakam album.
