En Pointe Names Shabazian President

En Pointe Technologies Inc., a Los Angeles-based provider of business-to-business information technology services, has appointed Michael Shabazian as president. Shabazian was brought in to assist in the implementation of the next phase of En Pointe’s growth strategy and will act as the chief executive of its primary operating subsidiary, En Pointe Technologies Sales Inc. En Pointe Chairman Bob Din will remain as chief executive of the parent company and devote his primary focus to the recently formed subsidiary En Pointe Technologies Ventures Inc.

* Hydrogen Media, a St. Petersburg, Fla.-based provider of e-business services including Web site design, has named Ralph Berry as general sales manager of its Los Angeles office. Berry previously was a business development director at Arthur Andersen.

* IA, a Los Angeles-based workplace design firm, has promoted Eva Osuorji to associate in its L.A. office.

* USSearch.com of Los Angeles, an Internet-based document search services firm, named H. Jake Mendelsohn as chief information officer. He previously was CIO at Petsmart.
