The Irvine designer and developer of network device servers, which said it is negotiating possible acquisitions, reported a net loss of $23,000, or less than 1 cent per share, for its fiscal first quarter, contrasted with profit of $949,000, or 3 cents a share, a year ago. Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 advanced 10% to $12 million.
