HomeAid, a nonprofit organization that builds and renovates temporary housing for homeless men, women and children, raised $365,000 at their recent fund-raiser, Project Playhouse, which was held at Fashion Island in Newport Beach.

The event showcased some of Southern California’s top builders and architects, who designed the 13 kid-sized playhouses that were auctioned on Oct. 21. The playhouses fetched from $6,000 to $34,000, the latter of which--”Crystal Cove Hideaway”--was sponsored by Taylor Woodrow Homes and designed by EBTA Architects. It won first runner up for the grand award.
