Orange County Candidates for School Boards

Sixteen school districts in Orange County are electing board members in Tuesday’s election. Several districts did not have enough candidates to force an election. Here are profiles of more than 80 school board candidates--information for which was provided by the candidates to reporters for The Times or to the registrar of voters and has not been independently verified:

ANAHEIM UNION HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT

Two Elected

Frank G. Cozza Jr.

Chris Thompson

* Background: Beechwood Elementary School Site Council president. Founded Maple Elementary School K-6 Committee--advocacy group started with goal of opening Maple to grades K-6. Business management experience.
