LAGUNA BEACH
The Police Department will promote Charles “Guy” Miller to the rank of sergeant next month.
On Christmas Day, he will replace Sgt. Ray Lardie, who will retire for medical reasons.
Miller has been with the department since 1993. He has worked as a patrol officer, a narcotics investigator and currently serves as a field training officer. Miller previously served with the Orange County Marshal’s Department.
