Rogan’s Loss to Schiff

Share

* California Rep. James Rogan ably, courageously and straightforwardly undertakes and succeeds in his constitutional duty as an impeachment manager, participating in trying the case against a president who is guilty of perjury and defiling all that those with traditional values hold dear, and for this, Rogan is “rewarded” with being turned out of office, replaced by another big-spending liberal Democrat? It is almost enough to make decent, honorable individuals shy away from running for public office. We get the type of government we deserve.

* Rogan pulled in $6 million in campaign funds and got 87,972 votes or $68.20 per vote.

His opponent, state Sen. Adam Schiff, pulled in $4 million and got 106,063 votes or $37.71 per vote.

Are those sufficient reasons for meaningful campaign finance reform?
