Dairy Worker, 39, Killed in Attack by Bull
A bull attacked and killed a 39-year-old dairy worker as he brought a herd of cows into a corral for milking, a deputy coroner said Thursday.
Francisco Perez of Ontario was bringing the cows in about 2:20 p.m. Wednesday for their afternoon milking when a bull charged and pinned him against a fence, said San Bernardino County Deputy Coroner Andrew Avery. Ranch hands from a neighboring dairy rescued Perez and called for help. Perez was pronounced dead about an hour later at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton.
