SAN CLEMENTE
Recruits are being sought for the city’s Code Enforcement Volunteer Program to help preserve and improve neighborhoods.
Code enforcement volunteers patrol the community in a city vehicle, locating visual property maintenance problems. At times, special projects are assigned to volunteers. Only people who are comfortable with direct public contact are asked to volunteer.
San Clemente’s code enforcement staff respond to citizen complaints or concerns about conditions in the community. If a city staff member determines that a violation of the municipal code is taking place, then property owners are notified about when corrections need to be made. Information: (949) 361-8200.
