STANTON
The City Council on Tuesday approved paying for the cleanup of two properties, one on Date Street and the other on Chestnut Avenue. Both properties are privately owned but were deemed a health hazard by city officials because of overgrown vegetation and trash. The city will charge the owners for the cleanups through property tax liens.
