Interested in having a say in local child-care issues? The city is accepting applications for four new volunteers to serve on the Irvine Child Care Committee.

Members of the panel will serve a minimum of two years, and advise the Community Services Commission on matters related to child care in the city.

They will also help identify child-care needs and issues in the city and promote the availability of good, affordable child care in the city.
