Participants in the Basket Brigade Thanksgiving outreach effort delivered food and gifts to more than 40 Orange County families last weekend, organizer Erin Marshall said.
The Chamber and Business Assn. and local merchants also joined in the effort to give baskets to the less fortunate. Marshall is also planning a Dec. 9 to 10 Holiday Brigade, during which volunteers will collect gifts and food baskets for the needy.
