Sheriff’s deputies armed with a search warrant seized more than 27,000 counterfeit Razor scooters at a warehouse in Compton on Wednesday night, officials said.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Lt. Shaun Mathers said deputies began their investigation after receiving a tip from Razor U.S.A. that counterfeit scooters were being stored at the warehouse on Artesia Boulevard.

Mathers said no suspects had been identified or arrested, and it was not known where the counterfeit scooters were made or where they were being sold.
