Economic reports due this week:

* Today, the National Assn. of Realtors will release its report on sales of previously owned homes in October.
* Tuesday, the Conference Board will issue its November index of consumer confidence. It stood at 135.2 in October, close to the record high of 144.7 set in May.
* Tuesday, the Commerce Department will report on orders to U.S. manufacturers for durable goods in October. They rose 3% in September.
* Thursday, the Commerce Department will release figures on personal spending and personal income in October. Consumer spending accounts for roughly two-thirds of economic output.
* Friday, the National Assn. of Purchasing Management’s manufacturing index is due for November. It registered a reading of 48.3 in October.
* Friday, the Commerce Department will report on construction spending in October. It climbed 2.4% during September.
