Aurelia A. Salas; Longtime Resident
Santa Paula resident Aurelia A. Salas died Friday after a brief illness. She was 97.
Salas was born June 16, 1903, in Jalisco, Mexico. She was a Ventura County resident for 61 years and worked as a packer for the Saticoy Lemon Assn. for 15 years before retiring.
Salas is survived by two granddaughters, six step-grandsons and a step-granddaughter.
A rosary will be held Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Stetler Mortuary in Santa Paula, with a funeral Mass on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Santa Paula. Burial will follow at Santa Paula Cemetery.
Friends may visit the mortuary Tuesday from noon to 9 p.m. All arrangements are being handled by Pierce Brothers Stetler Mortuary in Santa Paula.
