Morality

* As the election approaches, we must consider the most important issues that confront us. We must not wait until after the election and then display bumper stickers that say “Don’t blame me, I didn’t vote for . . . .” It’s too late then!

The issues that will always affect us are our morals. Our vote will tell who we are as a nation.

Surely education is important; so is the economy. But a nation that considers wealth and knowledge above morality is a lost, irretrievable nation. De Tocqueville tells us, “Morality is the best security of law as well as the surest pledge of freedom.”
