Members of the Westpark Corte Bella condominium association have recovered $3.5 million in a settlement reached with the development’s builder over construction defects.

The 205-unit complex sued Westpark Corte Bella Associates last year, claiming faulty construction led to roof leaks, plumbing and electrical problems, and that defective connection devices were installed onto gas lines.

Attorneys for both sides confirmed the settlement amount last week. Thomas E. Miller, the association’s attorney, said the money will pay for repairs in the 10-year-old development.
