Printronix Reports Loss of $1.2 Million

Printronix Inc., Irvine manufacturer of computer printers, reported a second-quarter net loss of $1.2 million, or 20 cents a share, which included a pretax charge of $800,000 for restructuring certain operations. The company earned $2.1 million, or 32 cents a share, in the second quarter last year. Sales for the three months ended Sept. 29 declined 9% to $41.4 million.
