Sweeney Expands Television Duties for Disney

* Anne Sweeney has been named president of ABC Cable Networks Group and president of Disney Channel Worldwide, divisions of Walt Disney Co. Sweeney has held the title of president of Disney/ABC Cable Networks and president of Disney Channel since 1998, with responsibility for ABC’s interests in Lifetime, A&E;, the History Channel and E! Entertainment Television, and overseeing the operation of Disney Channel in the U.S., Toon Disney, the all-animation channel, and SoapNet, the 24-hour soap opera network. She now assumes the added responsibility of overseeing all Disney Channels worldwide and all Disney-branded blocks of programming on cable and network television.

* Megatrax Production Music, a North Hollywood-based supplier of original production music for film, television, advertising and multimedia, has promoted Andrew Robbins to the newly created position of director of licensing, Film/TV.

* Los Angeles-based trucking company Daylight Transport has promoted Steve Olcomendy from account executive to Southern California regional sales manager with responsibility for managing eight account executives in the region.
