* Ashley Power, the 15-year-old founder and co-chair of Goosehead.com in Studio City, and her stepfather and co-chair, Mark Schilder, have agreed to a one-year option with MGM Television Entertainment.

The deal gives MGM the first right of refusal to any of Power and Schilder’s television ideas as well as the right to use Power and Schilder as consultants for online content.

The pact with MGM has led to a script order from Showtime Networks.

Goosehead.com is an Internet portal and digital broadcast network developed by Power and Schilder and aimed at the teen market

* Sanford (Sandy) M. Litvack will resign at the end of this year as vice chairman of the Walt Disney Co. in Burbank to pursue other opportunities. Litvack will continue to serve Disney in a part-time executive role, focusing on legal and governmental affairs, corporate alliances and sports operations.

* Shuji Utsumi has been named managing director for Disney Interactive Asia Pacific. Utsumi will oversee all Disney Interactive new business and product development, sales and distribution for the region.

Disney Interactive Asia Pacific is part of the Disney Consumer Products division of the Walt Disney Co. in Burbank.

* Anne Sweeney has been named president of ABC Cable Networks Group and president of Disney Channel Worldwide in Burbank.

Sweeney will oversee all Disney Channels worldwide and Disney programming on cable and television as well as continuing to be responsible for ABC’s cable interests and Disney’s domestic cable channels.

* Dana E. Hallberg has been appointed to the new position of senior vice president of international operations with On Assignment Inc. of Calabasas.

Hallberg oversees and develops the company’s operations in Canada, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Belgium and Switzerland.

On Assignment Inc. provides temporary staffing to the scientific, health care and environmental industries.

* Sheldon Rabinowitz has been hired as senior executive vice president and chief financial officer for TVN Entertainment Corp. in Burbank. Rabinowitz will create a financial plan to ensure long-term growth and will evaluate the company’s long- and short-term goals.

TVN is a digital distribution services company.

* David Lillington has been named president of Spectrolab Inc. of Sylmar. Lillington will be responsible for all operations and financial matters for the company.

Spectrolab manufactures spacecraft solar cells, searchlights and solar simulators.

* Michael B. Winchester has been hired as executive vice president and chief financial officer with Film Roman in North Hollywood. He will oversee business growth and financial strategies for the company.

Film Roman is an independent film and animation studio.

* Mark E. Gurvey has been appointed vice president of sales and marketing of Pioneer New Media Technologies Inc. of Burbank. Gurvey will be responsible for increasing the company’s market share and overseeing the sales staff.
