Baby’s 15-Floor Fall Blamed on Father
A Bronx man allegedly threw his 10-week-old son 15 floors to his death as police were entering his estranged wife’s apartment to arrest him. They arrested Derek Slade as he emerged from a back bedroom. Kerri Slade then went to check on her baby, who she thought was sleeping in the back bedroom from where Slade had emerged. That’s when she discovered the child was missing, looked out the window and saw him lying in the courtyard.
