The City Council has approved spending additional money to keep an extra motorcycle officer patrolling the city. The additional officer is not included in the city’s contract with the Orange County Sheriff’s Department. All salary and expenses associated with maintaining the officer and the motorcycle must be absorbed by the city, which has funds set aside for law enforcement programs
