LAGUNA NIGUEL
The City Council voted to spend $23,531 from Local Law Enforcement Block Grant Funds to fund a variety of special police programs at their meeting Tuesday.
The city will spend $1,000 on both the Drug Use Life Abuse Program and South Orange County Drug Court and $10,000 for the Laguna Niguel Citizens Police Academy. Additional money will go toward the purchase of police bicycles and crime prevention.
