* Folksy--Sourdough Slim, a yodeling cowboy comic and singer, will perform Nov. 2 as part of the next installment of Tom and Becky Lowe’s folk music series in Ojai. Outfitted in cowboy garb reminiscent of a 1930s B-movie, Sourdough Slim’s performances recall the bygone era of Gene Autry and Tex Ritter. * Theater--Cabrillo Music Theater will open Cole Porter’s “Anything Goes” Nov. 3 at Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza Kavli Theatre, 2100 E. * Marching Bands--High school bands from across the state will gather Nov. 4 at Moorpark College’s Griffin Stadium to compete in the third annual Thousand Oaks High School Band and Color Guard Field Tournament. * Celluloid--The Back Lot Theater at Gold Coast Center for the Arts in Thousand Oaks will hold a special screening Nov. 4, featuring Dennis Hopper’s “The Last Movie.” Hopper will be in attendance to discuss his directorial debut film, which received the only award given at the 1971 Venice Film Festival. The film, however, has been shelved for nearly 30 years after Hopper refused to acquiesce to Universal Pictures’ insistence that he adapt it to the studio’s specifications. The theater is at 1408 E.
