* Celluloid--The Back Lot Theater at Gold Coast Center for the Arts in Thousand Oaks will hold a special screening Nov. 4, featuring Dennis Hopper’s “The Last Movie.” Hopper will be in attendance to discuss his directorial debut film, which received the only award given at the 1971 Venice Film Festival. The film, however, has been shelved for nearly 30 years after Hopper refused to acquiesce to Universal Pictures’ insistence that he adapt it to the studio’s specifications. The theater is at 1408 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd. $20. 497-8606.
