“Charlie’s Angels,” an update of the ‘70s action-comedy TV series, stars Cameron Diaz, from top, Lucy Liu and Drew Barrymore as the title characters and Bill Murray as Bosley. Opens Friday.

Also: In “The Legend of Bagger Vance,” mystical caddy Will Smith guides golfer Matt Damon through more than the perfect game. Charlize Theron co-stars in the film directed by Robert Redford and based on the Steven Pressfield novel. Opens Friday.

“Raphael and His Circle: Drawings From Windsor Castle,” opening Tuesday at the J. Paul Getty Museum, features 66 drawings by the Renaissance master and several followers, from one of the world’s most important Old Master collections. Above right, Raphael’s “Poetry.”

Only 11 days before the actual centenary of Aaron Copland’s birth (Nov. 14), the L.A. Philharmonic, conducted by Miguel Harth-Bedoya, presents a Copland program Thursday night consisting of the Symphonic Ode, three examples of the composer’s music for films, “Old American Songs” and the “Appalachian Spring” Suite. Veteran mezzo-soprano Marilyn Horne, below, is soloist.

Dance

Exploring the relationship between human motion and the environment, “Body Landscape 2000 (Walking/Dancing)” unites butoh specialists Christine Quoiraud and Oguri on Saturday and next Sunday at the Electric Lodge in Venice. The three performances were preceded by a 10-day public workshop and are part of a five-year international project sponsored by the French Foreign Ministry.

Brace yourself for a generational panorama of Latin music, with the Revolucion 2000 tour bringing pop-rock upstarts such as Jaguares to the Universal Amphitheatre on Wednesday, KLVE’s 25th anniversary show spotlighting Juan Gabriel, Enrique Iglesias and others Friday at Staples Center, and ranchera legend Vicente Fernandez opening for three nights at Universal on Friday.

The sentimental thriller “Frequency” focuses on a young man (Jim Caviezel) who, through an atmospheric quirk, communicates with his long-dead firefighter father (Dennis Quaid) via an old ham radio. Andre Braugher and Noah Emmerich also star in this supernatural tale directed by Gregory Hoblit (“Primal Fear,” “Fallen”). Available Tuesday.
