The City Council voted unanimously Tuesday to deny a claim filed by Christopher Stock, who alleged that dangerous road conditions contributed to the death of his mother in January.
Elizabeth Stock, 65, was killed Jan. 18 by an unknown hit-and-run driver while walking in the crosswalk on Cliff Drive near Rosa Bonheur Street. She was thrown 40 feet. Her son seeks wrongful-death damages of an unknown amount.
Neither Stock nor his attorney were available to comment on whether they would appeal.
