Alex Lifeson, guitarist of Rush, has composed and recorded the theme for “Gene Roddenberry’s Andromeda,” a new series based on a concept by the late “Star Trek” creator. Lifeson says the martial track includes a full 20,000 guitar overdubs. The show premieres Oct. 7.
