Teachers’ Influence?
Recent news has been very interesting. Teen pregnancies, crime, drug use and alcohol use have declined and college admissions are at an all-time high. Could it be . . . do I dare say . . . of course not! But let me hope that the innovative programs and the dedicated professionals in our public schools are beginning to see results after years of dealing with the most challenging and complex students ever to enter our schools.
Silly me! Everyone knows that our public schools do nothing right, and teachers are incompetent. Yes, 36 years, now retired.
