* The Air Force awarded Los Angeles-based Northrop Grumman Corp. a $512.5-million contract to provide maintenance, training and upgrades for the E-8 Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System aircraft, the Pentagon said. The contract was to provide system support for the JSTARS long-range ground surveillance planes from November through October 2006.
