Metrolink’s Rose Parade Express Tickets Available

Share

Although it’s more than three months away, Metrolink is already selling tickets for its special Rose Parade express train that will provide a convenient ride to Pasadena on New Year’s Day.

The service, previously available along the Antelope Valley and San Bernardino lines, has been expanded to the Orange County Line. Passengers, who must have advance purchase tickets, will catch the Antelope Valley or Orange County lines and ride to Metrolink’s Glendale station. The San Bernardino Line train will terminate in El Monte.

From each termination point, passengers will catch a shuttle bus going directly to the parade route.

Tickets--$89.50 each--will include a round-trip ticket on Metrolink and the shuttle bus, a reserved grandstand seat on Colorado Boulevard on the Pasadena City College campus for the parade and refreshments on the afternoon return train.

This is the fifth year Metrolink has offered the service.

“In the past, [tickets] have gone pretty fast,” Metrolink spokeswoman Claudia Keith said. “We generally do sell out.”

Tickets must be purchased by Nov. 1. To order, send a check, money order or cashier’s check to Metrolink, 700 S. Flower St., 26th Floor, Los Angeles 90017, Attn: Metrolink Rose Parade Express. Visa and Mastercard orders can be placed by calling (800) 371-LINK.
