Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia presents its annual Hallelujah Jubilee on Friday featuring contemporary Christian music acts. The OC Supertones are the headliners; they will perform selections from their new CD, “Chase the Sun.” The lineup includes Big Tent Revival, Out of Eden and Waterdeep. The Hallelujah Jubilee concerts are included in the price of park admission.

Coin Show

The Coin Expo/Valley is slated this weekend in Encino. The International Coin Collectors Society show will celebrate U.S. political campaigns with a special collection of American coins and medals on display. The expo offers a wide selection of coins--both for collection and investment--plus supplies, memorabilia and other collectibles.

Community Fest

Valley Glen Festival 2000 is scheduled this weekend at Valley College, featuring such live musical acts as the Celtic band Finn Mac Cool, jazz pianist Dave Mackay, punk band the Dickies, the world-famous Ink Spots and many others. Sponsored by the Valley Glen Business Assn., the fair will benefit community cleanup and beautification efforts, plus a scholarship fund for Grant High School students. Arts, crafts, food and booths are also on tap.

Youth Musical

Southern California Conservatory of Music in Sun Valley presents two musicals starting next week, performed by 8- to 14-year-old students. “The Singing School” and “The Emperor’s Nightingale” open Monday and run through Oct. 7.
