* Theater--Center Stage Theatre in Santa Barbara will premiere “Isadora!,” a musical and dance drama based on the life of the American-born dancer Isadora Duncan. * Jazz/Stories--KCLU-FM and Speaking of Stories will present an evening of jazz, blues poetry and prose Saturday at the Lobero Theatre, 33 E. Canon Perdido St., Santa Barbara. The evening will feature a group of actors reading works by James Baldwin, Maya Angelou, Jack Kerouac, Billy Collins and Al Young. Konrad Kono will lead a jazz quartet with appearances by Peter Clark and Carl Sonny Leyland. Performing actors: Rudolph Willrich, Orlando Bonner, Nambi Kelley and Henry Brown. $20, $25. 963-0761.

* Museum--The Santa Barbara Maritime Museum, 113 Harbor Way, will present an exclusive two-day exhibit and sale of works by Maui-based marine artist Robert Lyn Nelson. More than 50 original works of art by Nelson will be displayed in celebration of the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary’s 20th anniversary. Nelson, whose painting “From Sea to Shining Sea” will be displayed this fall in the Smithsonian Institution’s American Museum of Natural History, has chosen the event to unveil the first of a series of works honoring the 13 U.S. marine sanctuaries. * Rock Icon--Neil Young and his band will make a tour stop Wednesday and Sept. 28 at the Santa Barbara Bowl, 1122 Milpas St. Beck will open the show each night at 6:30, performing a special acoustic set. $54-$94. 962-7411.
