Costly Navy Toilets

The Navy is spending $187,000 apiece to replace 3,000 commodes, or $561 million, total. They have gone beyond the deep end. One can purchase a modest home for the price of each commode. For that price, they should be made of gold, not of ordinary stainless steel--easier to clean.
We pay taxes for these follies? We need a new Boston Tea Party.
