The Planning Commission on Tuesday night approved a request from Pacific Coast Church to transform an undeveloped portion of its site into a parking lot.
The 7-0 vote allows for an additional 84 spaces in a lot south of the church. The church, which has four services per week, has an expanding congregation, according to officials.
The lot will be paved with asphalt, landscaped and irrigated. Signs will be installed indicating that cars will only be allowed to park in the area from sunrise to sunset. Information: (949) 361-8200.
