Spencer Stuart Names New Director

* Stephanie A. Davis has joined the Los Angeles office of management consulting firm Spencer Stuart as a director. The former Morgan Samuels Co. partner will focus on Internet and high-technology clients.

* Alfonso Rodriguez has been named manager of URS Corp.’s Los Angeles office. He will be responsible for managing operations and business development for San Francisco-based URS, a construction management service for transportation and other industries.

* YellowOnline.com, an Internet yellow pages service based in Los Angeles, has named Jacob Stettin senior vice president and general counsel. He is a former En Pointe Technologies Inc. general counsel.

* Pacific Palisades-based Liquid Advertising has tapped Jill Spelbring as vice president with responsibility for expanding the online advertising agency. She is a former AppNet executive.

* Bob Brown, a former senior vice president at BGMHealth Communications, has formed a new marketing and advertising agency with partner Samantha Bryant called BryantBrown. The firm is based in Los Angeles.

* Santa Monica-based Fandom Inc., an Internet entertainment company, has named Ted Howells chief financial officer. He is a former Sony Pictures Entertainment executive. Also, Hillary Atkin has been named senior vice president of corporate communications and development. She previously operated her own firm, Atkin Communications.
