Victim of Drug War
* I couldn’t help but respond to the Sept. 20 letter regarding the 11-year-old boy killed in Modesto during a drug raid. Get tougher on crime? Isn’t that what the drug war is all about? Isn’t the drug war what killed this boy? The boy’s father would not have been allegedly manufacturing drugs if we didn’t have prohibition. The police would not have raided the house. Lastly, the boy would not have been killed had the police not raided the house. The drug war has claimed another victim--that 11-year-old boy.
