South Korea Advances Into Women’s Final Eight

South Korea will play Brazil, France will take on Denmark, Romania faces Norway and Austria matched up with Hungary in the quarterfinals.

France defeated Romania, 21-18, and Norway beat Austria, 24-21, to end preliminary play.

In men’s competition, Russia advanced to the semifinals with a 33-22 victory over Slovenia and Cuba finished 11th by defeating Australia, 26-24.
