NQL Reports Quarterly Loss of $4.7 Million

NQL Inc., a Santa Ana Internet software company, reported a fourth-quarter net loss of $4.7 million, or 33 cents a share, compared to a year-earlier net loss of $10.8 million, or 93 cents. Revenue dropped 55% to $3.3 million.

Results for the previous year’s final three months included $4.2 million of revenue from the company’s managed-services and computer-manufacturing division, which was sold in January 2000.

The net loss for the year was $10.6 million, or 78 cents a share, compared with the prior year’s net loss of $14.1 million, or $1.21 a share. Sales were down 59% to $14.2 million.
