An Old, Sad Story

* Re your editorial “Unsafe Intersection Needs Fixing,” March 18:

This is not a new problem, as you have heard from Anaheim Hills residents. These hills are unsafe for large trucks. You may want to dig up articles on an accident on Nov. 28, 1983, in which a sergeant with the Anaheim Police Department was killed in a 21-vehicle pileup. Again, the driver was operating in unsafe conditions. Again, there was much concern about truck haulers.

The recent accident brought back a lot of hard feelings.
