* Re “Limits Weighed on Ammunition Sales,” April 4: Do you suppose that the politicians pushing for the ban on ammunition sales in Los Angeles understand that they will be empowering a new smuggling and sales organization? The bad guys are already in the business of distributing and selling one illegal substance--drugs. It will be child’s play for them to add ammunition to their product line.
