ConnectivCorp, which links drug companies and other health-care providers to consumers on line, said it plans to announce a partnership with Drkoop.com Inc. to create a sexual health center on the Web that provides information on disease, dysfunction and other topics. ConnectivCorp said it will get access to the 2 million registered users of health Web site Drkoop.com, which will gain New York-based ConnectivCorp’s content. The site, SexHealth.com, also will include information on reproductive health, sexuality and aging, and sexuality and parenting. The venture pairs former U.S. Surgeons General C. Everett Koop, who co-founded Drkoop.com, and Joycelyn Elders, who is on the medical advisory board of SexHealth.com. The companies will split revenue from the partnership. Drkoop.com shares closed up 2 cents at 13 cents on Nasdaq, and ConnectivCorp last traded on Thursday, closing at 13 cents in over-the-counter trading.
