LaDainian Tomlinson, Texas Christian, 5-10, 221--Bona fide workhorse who reminds scouts of Emmitt Smith. Gives tremendous second effort, will fight for every inch of ground. First-round material.

Michael Bennett, Wisconsin, 5-9, 207--World-class speedster with very few miles on him. May turn out to be the best back in the draft. Could be gone by the second round.

LaMont Jordan, Maryland, 5-10, 234--Punishing runner who makes opponents miss and gets stronger as the game goes on. Worth a second-round pick.

Kevan Barlow, Pittsburgh, 6-1, 235--Known for having a strong burst inside but can counter with surprising outside ability as well. Loves to bowl over tacklers.
