* Update--Avenger quarterback Todd Marinovich is questionable for tonight’s game because of a sprained left ankle that has limited his practice time. He was sacked three times and took several other hard hits in Saturday’s loss at San Jose. “He’s beat up,” Coach Stan Brock said. “He didn’t get much work during the off-season, didn’t have much time in training camp, and in the first game he got whacked around pretty good. The decision will probably be right up to game time.” Erik Wilhelm, who played at Oregon State and eight seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals, would get the call if Marinovich can’t play. This is Wilhelm’s first Arena season. He did not take any snaps last week but, as the holder on an Avenger field-goal attempt, recovered a fumble in San Jose territory that led to the Avengers’ first touchdown.
